FIT 100% cotton denim will naturally stretch with wear. It’s normal for freshly laundered jeans to fit snugly at first, especially in the waist and hips, and then gradually loosen with regular wear. The waistband can stretch up to 1 inch, and the hips and thighs can stretch 1/2 inch to 1 inch. If you're between sizes or would like a more fitted look, it’s usually recommended to size down a bit.
Each pair of vintage jeans has been uniquely shaped by decades of wear so you should always refer to the listed measurements, not the tag size or your modern jeans size. All measurements are taken flat after the jeans have been washed and dried. To find your perfect fit, use a soft measuring tape to measure yourself and/or a favorite pair of (non stretch!) jeans. As you’re measuring, consider how relaxed or snug you’d like your jeans to be. If you have sizing questions you can always send me a message and I’ll do my best to help.
CONDITION All denim is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and ready to wear. Most of the jeans in the shop are chosen for their interesting character, so signs of age like surface-level blemishes, fraying, or twisted seams are part of the charm. Any major flaws are noted when present, but most wear should be considered normal vintage character. If you’d like more details about a specific item, just ask!
